" Five-Star Experience! I stopped by this barbecue spot today, and let me tell you -- everything was outstanding from start to finish. The macaroni and cheese was perfectly creamy, the green beans were full of flavor, and they even let me sample the corn poppers, which were absolutely delicious. I also tried the brisket, and it was tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. For my main entree, I had the breast and leg quarter (or breast and wing quarter), and it was cooked to perfection -- smoked beautifully, juicy, and wonderfully seasoned. Their sweet tea tasted like it had a hint of lavender in it, and it was refreshing and perfectly balanced. And the desserts? Unreal. I tried the strawberry cake, lemon cake, and cheesecake -- every single one was delicious. The lemon cake was my personal favorite, hands down. If you're local or even just passing through the neighborhood, you should 100% stop by this place. Great food, great flavors, and a great experience all around. Highly recommended! I would share photos, however I ate the food as soon as I saw it because of the wonderful scent and I was extremely hungry."

"A friend was driving me through from IAH and this place showed up on Google maps. Sweet little place indoor seating with the BEST RIBS and brisket I have had. Great barbque sauce and sides. Fresh fried okra best potatoes salad and collard greens. 2 meat and 3 meat plates and too many choices for delicious deserts. We had banana bread Cake! Yummy. On the weekend they cook oxtails and Soul Foods. I'll have to drive sn hour to come back but I WILL be back! Then we got a taste of the sausage"

"Fantastic BBQ! Brisket stuffed baked potato was extraordinary! And their roast chicken was GREAT! And am ordering a bone in ham for Thanksgiving. They also have full Thanksgiving meals with smoked or fried turkey. ADDED: Had to try the Root Beer Float and Banana Pudding Cake.... EXCELLENT. Tastes like homemade whipped cream to me! Worth the extra and definitely big enough to share!"
